Contex scanners digitally capture documents, drawings and other input in
order to view, edit, archive, convert, file or print the output data for

wide-format digital copiers by linking a Contex scanner to a
large-format printer. This solution makes copying of especially medium
and small series more versatile and cost efficient than traditional

Contex has modern manufacturing facilities in Svendborg, Denmark.
The company produces most of its own mechanical components using

Contex Software Products
Contex produces two special software packages, WIDEimage scanning
software and JETimage copy software. WIDEimage is a fully integrated
scanning, viewing, converting and printing system for Contex color and
monochrome scanners. WIDEimage is a complete system, containing
professional imaging tools, to optimize the scanning process and then
ensuring fast, accurate processing of the scanned data. JETimage is a
complete color and B/W copying software package designed especially for
wide-format copying from Contex scanners to large-format printers.
Contex also develops other utilities such as scan-to-email and scan
